We traveled coast to coast with two pets last summer, a Labrador Retriever and a Ruddy Abyssinian cat. I wouldn't have been able to manage without these Dixie paper plates. I used them for the dog's food, particularly at dinner. We would take out a doggie bag from whatever restaurant we ate in. We would cut up the meat on one of these plates and mix it with rice or potatoes, whatever was available. Then he would wolf it down on the motel room floor. After he finished we didn't have to do anything except pick it up and throw it away. Back at the house we served the dog in metal bowls that fit in his raised feeder. It would be impossible to take that with us and extremely inconvenient to always have to wash out bowls in a motel room sink without the aid of a dishwasher. Pack lots of these bowls and restock on the trip. You will be glad you did.
Note: They're convenient in your family picnic basket or cooler, too. Better than other paper plates, a local Tucson restaurant, Viro's, uses them.
